Dear customers!

In 2021, as part of our security monitoring, we became aware of a security leak.

The risk of this data leak can be classified as "low", as our password security standards are state-of-the-art. Therefore it cannot be assumed that your personal data was at risk at any time.

Nevertheless, we would like to inform you that a backup of our data was stored on an unprotected server for a short time.

If you would still like to change your password, you can do so any time in our customer area.

In case you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service at info@remedia.at. Requests are usually answered within two working days.

Notifications from Antivirus and Security Services

Currently, customers of antivirus, identity protection, or security services may receive notifications regarding data related to REMEDIA.

Based on our current review, these notifications relate to the security incident identified and addressed in 2021 and do not indicate a new security incident at REMEDIA in 2026.

The previous incident was investigated, reviewed for compliance with data protection regulations, and addressed accordingly. In addition, our technical and organizational security measures have been further enhanced.

Security services may also issue notifications years later regarding previously known or republished data sets. Therefore, a current warning does not necessarily mean that data has currently been compromised from our systems.

We continue to take such notifications seriously and review them carefully.
