hCG Globuli
What is hCG?
hCG is the abbrevation for human chorionic gonadotropin, a hormone that is produced by the placenta during pregnancy. It is responsible for the start and the continuation of pregnancy, working as a safe-guard against malnutrition of the fetus. If too few nutrients are available to the baby, hCG will cause increased depletion of fatty tissue without damaging or degrading muscle mass. This way, the mother will not be weakened unnecessarily during pregnancy.
Many pregnancy tests check for the hCG hormone to determine if a pregnancy is present – heightened levels of hCG cause a positive result.
Weight loss with hCG globules
Many people have heard of hCG in connection with weight loss. Dr. Albert Simeon experimented with hCG in the 1950ies and noticed successful weight loss in his patients. They followed an extremely low-calorie diet (500 calories per day), complemented by hCG injections. Body fat was significantly reduced without loss of muscle mass. Ideally, such a strict diet should only be taken on with medical supervision.
Since the intake of globules causes less side effects and makes taking the right dosages easier, many dieticians prefer using globules over injections.
Attention!
At Remedia Homeopathy all hCG globules and dilutions need a prescription, because intake should be overseen by a homeopathic therapist or doctor.
