The haft is made from bamboo, the fastest growing plant on earth. It contains naturally antibacterial compounds that remove the need for fertilizers and pesticides. Bamboo is very strong and gives off negative ions that have an advantageous influence on reduction of bacteria in the mouth.
The brush head is made from corn fibers, a renewable resource that combines the attributes of natural fibers and polyester fibers: they are very low maintenance and transport liquids well.
If used correctly, the brush can be used as long as a plastic toothbrush. Rinse the bristles with hot water. Keep the toothbrush in a dry and open space. We recommend changing toothbrushes every 3 months or as soon as the bristles have been worn out.
Wooden toothbrushes do take a few days to get used to. Try it out!
